Throughout August I will be traveling the District listening to your views and concerns. I have been committed to serving the public during my past four years on the State Board of Equalization and I understand the value of spending time with and hearing ideas from people throughout the First District. Whether it be in Sacramento to attend the California Women Lead Mover Awards, or in Southern California to attend the 2010 Equality Awards, I hope you will keep apprised of my activities by clicking here. On August 18, supporters in Silicon Valley will come together for an end of Summer fundraiser. If you are in the area, I hope you will attend. My re-election campaign is built on the grassroots momentum of my supporters. I welcome your thoughts and ideas on the campaign, as well as about community events in which we should participate.
